Double Dip Snorkel Trip
...an unforgettable snorkeling experience.
Sail to the world famous Underwater Sculpture Park and enjoy a fully guided snorkeling tour of each of the sculptures. Your guides will give you a description of the sculptures beforehand. A full lunch buffet and beverages will be served while sailing onto Flamingo Bay to snorkel a beautiful reef and relax on a sandy beach in a protected marine area. Sip rum punches and enjoy the coastline as you sail back to Grand Anse beach

Grenada Private Bar Hopping by Boat - toursgrenada - Private Beach Bar Hopping by Boat
We had been on the group tour last year and wanted to do it again to see more of the south side of Grenada. Decided that the private tour would fit our needs completely. Reservations are simple. I did communicate with them to try to pick a day that had the most favorable weather. Keep in mind that you do go out into the open ocean for portions of the voyage. We picked the time and bars that we wanted to visit.
We opted to add the taxi to/from the boat pickup spot. It was easier and cheaper. We left from the Grenada Yacht Club. Our captain was Khabir. He did a great job in keeping us entertained and piloting the Black Betty. He showed us the sights along the southern end of the island. It was a fairly windy day and the water was fairly rough but he did a great job of navigating the waves. We are seasoned boaters so we weren’t fazed by some waves. We visited the Calabash Resort, Roger’s Barefoot Bar and Le Phare Bleu. We have been to others on prior trips so we decided to only do a few and spend more time at these three. By far our favorite was Roger’s and the other small bars on Hogs Island. No electricity, boat access only. Beautiful place. Fun people. Conch fishermen were cleaning their catch down the beach. Khabir took us over to see how they processed the conch. Very relaxing standing in the water with a drink and just taking in the scenery.
Khabir took us back and gave us the option of dropping us off at our resort, Sandals. We immediately said YES. We were going to go to Dodgy Dock but decided to save that for another trip.
Overall a great experience with fun, happy people and beautiful scenery.
