What to Expect
Famous for its appearance in the Bounty chocolate bar commercials we set up yet another special itinerary to this picturesque island for you. We will pick you up right from Grand Anse Beach and bring you to a group of islands to the north of Grenada which you maybe never heard of or might have noticed on a visit to the welcome rock. Offshore of Levera beach we will find Sugar loaf, Green Island and Sandy Island forming a group of small islands, mostly uninhabited with Sandy Island being undoubtful the most beautiful. The islands are stunning in a way that we will be most likely alone to discover them above and below water. You can imagine the unspoiled wildlife in a place where humans don't stop too often. We will prepare a BBQ lunch right at the beach for you, enjoy our all-inclusive service with great food, enjoy the islands, and coastline on the way back and have a nice time on a deserted island with your friends or family.

Sandy Island Experience – Your Private Caribbean Escape

The Sandy Island Experience is a full-day private boat trip from Grand Anse Beach in Grenada to Sandy Island — a stunning, largely uninhabited Caribbean island famous for its powdery white sand, crystal-clear waters, and untouched natural beauty. The tour includes a BBQ beach lunch, open bar, snorkeling, swimming, and relaxation in complete seclusion.

The tour runs for approximately 8 hours. Departure is at 10:00 AM from Grand Anse Beach or Grenada Yacht Club, with arrival at Sandy Island around 11:30 AM and return by approximately 5:30 PM.

Your tour price includes: private use of the vessel for your group, an experienced captain, crew, and chef, a freshly prepared BBQ beach lunch (buffet style), an open bar with non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, top-of-the-line snorkel gear, fishing gear, a fresh water shower, inflatable tow tube, shaded deck lounges, and a Bluetooth sound system. There are no hidden costs.

Tips for the crew, wine and champagne, any personal expenses, and hotel transfers are not included. Hotel shuttle options are available as add-ons during booking.

Yes — the minimum age is 5 years old and the tour is fully family-friendly. Children (ages 1–12) and adolescents (ages 13–17) have separate pricing tiers. The crew is experienced with families and will ensure younger guests are safe and comfortable throughout the day.

We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a camera or waterproof phone case. All snorkeling and water gear is provided on board. You are welcome to bring additional personal snacks or drinks.

Your captain monitors weather and sea conditions closely. In the event of unsafe conditions, you will be contacted in advance to reschedule at no penalty. Grenada is located south of the hurricane belt and enjoys excellent weather year-round — cancellations due to weather are rare.

star rating  Grenada Island Tour - Exploring Grenada with Travis from Tours Grenada was an absolute highlight of our trip. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about showing visitors the best of the island. The pace was relaxed, the commentary was engaging, and nothing ever felt rushed. It genuinely felt like exploring the island with a friend rather than a guide.

We started in St George’s, the capital, where Travis shared great insight into Grenada’s history and culture. We then visited a chocolate shop and a rum factory, both made even better by his explanations and local stories.

The drive through the rainforest was beautiful, and Travis made sure we didn’t miss any of the scenery. Annandale Falls was a standout — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for photos. Meeting the Mona monkeys was another memorable moment and added a fun, unique touch to the day.

Throughout the tour, Travis was patient, engaging, and made us feel completely at ease. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a memorable and authentic experience.
