Sail n’ Hike

...experience Grenada by sea and land.

Sail up the west coast of Grenada to Black Bay where you will disembark to start our guided hike through tropical gardens and lush rain forests to the waterfalls. There, we take a cool dip in the crystal waters and enjoy some refreshments before we hike back to the coast (3.5 hours round trip). By now you will have burned up enough energy to enjoy a finger licking good BBQ prepared by our chef aboard Corsair! After a swim in the sea, we set sail and head back into the sunset. Don’t forget to bring some sneakers and your camera!

From here we will start our guided hike through a lush fruit estate.

Taxi ride with our bus

a short organized bus ride will bring us closer to the rain forests from where we start the next hike.

Hike through the rain forest and crossings of river beds

Arrival at the highest Concord waterfall

At the so called Fountain Bleu waterfall we will have enough time to take a swim in the ice cold water and enjoy some refreshments which we will provide.

Hike back

returning from the peak, we will choose a different path for the last bit to end up in a different bay called Mango Bay.

Meanwhile the ship was moved to Mango Bay and the Chef has prepared a lovely and fresh lunch buffet with BBQ for you. In Mango Bay you will also have enough time to explore the bay, enjoy the beach and water toys we offer.

What to Expect

We have set up this adventurous and exciting tour to show you a lot of the varieties Grenada has to offer. An entire day packed with sailing and hiking, rain forests and snorkeling, waterfalls and water toys, good food and unbeatable sunset! You will discover different climates as we get to the peak and the air will be saturated, often the rain catches in the trees and for some time you will hear raindrops falling down on the leafs like thunder. A bath in the waterfall pools will be very refreshing and back on the beach we will finally get rid of the remaining mud between those toes!rnrnEveryone from kids to grandma will enjoy this tour - you don't have to be an expert. star rating Bare boat day - We did the bare boat rental it was a great time exploring the reefs sculpture park and beachs and landscape of this beautiful country on our own time. After docking back at Grenada yacht club we went upstairs for the best margaritas and some delicious BBQ chicken and macaroni pie. I highly recommend Tours Grenada this was our second day with them Marc,Nic and Marcus are all so awesome and helpful. Thank you guys for the great experience.

star rating Pay by the hour is the way to go! - We booked Tours Grenada while on site at Sandals. This company comes highly recommended by so many others visiting the island. Our tour guide was Nick. He was so knowledgeable about the island and its history. We made quite a few stops - the Grande Anse Beach, a waterfall, the rainbow eucalyptus tree, and the highlight- the Mona Monkey experience. It was wonderful! We had a question while booking and Marc was very quick to respond. Great company, great staff and a great experience!

star rating Discovery by land and see with Nick! - We did the discovery by land and sea and got picked up from sandals from our guide Nick. Nick was super friendly and took us for a tour to go see some of the top things to see near our hotel and around the island. He was super informative and made the excursion fun. He gave us history lessons or like Grenada lessons. He took us to a rum distillery to sample rums, he took us to see and hold Mona monkeys (the absolute highlight of my trip), we saw some of the famous underwater sculptures by snorkel, we went to a waterfall and a rainbow eucalyptus tree. He taught us about nutmeg and let us try that as well with Grenada being the spice isle. He showed us some pretty lookout spots. He purchased bananas for us to try. We ate local Grenada food which was delicious. Even better, he was our personal photographer (taking a lot just in case)! He is super sweet and if you get the chance to have him as your guide, you’ll have a great time!

star rating Amazing tour of this beautiful island. - This was the best Caribbean tour we’ve done. Marcus was a fantastic guide, an encyclopaedia of Grenada with an incredible ability to bring the island’s history, culture, and nature to life. He managed the timing perfectly, arranging private visits to all the main attractions so that we experienced them without the crowds, including having the waterfall entirely to ourselves! A brilliant day from start to finish and one we would highly recommend.
